The Daily Acca: Get aboard this 6/1 boost from the Championship

It’s Championship action for Paul Robinson’s Daily Acca today, and his treble has been boosted from 5/1 to 6/1. Here are his selections:

Baggies to beat the Boro

Bet 1: Back West Brom @ 5/6 – KO 15:00 GMT

Neil Warnock would have been livid with his team after they conceded three goals in six minutes at Luton on Tuesday, as they had led 1-0 at Kenilworth Road.

The 3-1 loss was their second defeat in as many games, and things don’t get any easier for them today, as they have to travel to the Hawthorns.

The Baggies are third in the table, and unbeaten in front of their own fans this season. They have won their last four on the bounce, and with Boro having been beaten in three of their last four on the road, 5/6 looks like a very decent price for the hosts.

Jones to inspire an all too sweet victory

Bet 2: Back Luton @ 7/5 – KO 15:00 GMT

Nathan Jones won’t have fond memories of his time at Stoke, as the team only won six of 38 matches in his 10 months in charge. He has won 30 of 77 at Luton though, and I expect that to become 31 out of 78 against his former employer today.

The Potters put a winless run of five games behind them by beating Blackpool on Wednesday, but the Hatters have only lost once at Kenilworth Road all season.

The hosts have won three of their last four in front of their own fans, scoring nine goals in the process.

Fulham juggernaut to roll on

Bet 3: Back Fulham 1/2 – KO 15:00 GMT

Marco Silva’s Fulham simply blew away Blackburn at Ewood Park during the week, thrashing them 7-0. It was their fifth straight victory, and the aggregate score for those five successes now stands at 20-1.

They should be able to win on the road again this afternoon, as they head north to a Peterborough side that are 20th in the division.

Darren Ferguson’s men have taken just one point from their two latest outings, and both West Brom and Bristol City have already beaten them at London Road this year.
