The Goalscorer Bet: Harry Kane – Aston Villa (A)
Harry Kane is among the highest owned players in the game outside of the top of the table clash between Manchester City and Liverpool. He heads into this fixture as the overwhelming captain favourite, which is well justified given his current form.
Over the last four gameweeks, Harry Kane has an unblemished record, with four goals and four assists in five games. He tops the statistics for shots (20) over this time and is second for key passes with 11. Kane has four goals in three appearances at Villa Park.
The Assist Bet: Bruno Fernandes – Everton (A)
Manchester United have an excellent fixture this weekend against a tired Everton side who look destined for relegation: the Toffees have conceded 11 goals over the last four gameweeks. Bruno Fernandes grabbed an assist in the reverse fixture, which ended 1-1.
Fernandes has delivered one goal and two assists in his last four Premier League appearances for Manchester United. He will also be on penalties if we see Cristiano Ronaldo absent again. Manchester United remain in the hunt for a top four finish.
The Penalty Bet: Alexandre Lacazette – Brighton (H)
Arsenal will be looking for an emphatic performance at the Emirates this weekend, after a surprising loss against Crystal Palace on Monday. Alexandre Lacazette will be relied upon to provide attacking returns: he has netted one goal and two assists in the last four gameweeks.
Arsenal have won five penalties this season, with Lacazette on spot-kick duty in more recent times. Brighton have conceded four spot-kicks in this campaign. Brighton have just one clean sheet in their last four Premier League games, conceding six goals.
The Clean Sheet Bet: Reece James – Southampton (A)
Chelsea are among the clean sheet favourites in Gameweek 32 ahead of a trip to Southampton. They’ve kept two clean sheets in their last four fixtures. The biggest headache here is security of minutes from Reece James: he’s played just 104 minutes across two fixtures in 2022.
However, Reece James carries plenty of attacking threat when he plays. In 13 starts this campaign, he’s amassed five goals and six assists, which is a sensational record. He played 90 minutes in the Champions League this midweek against Real Madrid.
The Odds-Against Goalscorer Bet: Mo Salah – Manchester City (A)
Mo Salah will largely be overlooked this weekend as he travels to Manchester City, but he should still be considered a goal threat despite the difficulty of the fixture. The reverse game in Gameweek 8 ended 2-2, with Salah getting a goal and an assist.
Salah has one goal from his last four Premier League appearances. He’s ranked second for shots over that time with 19, although only two of them have been big chances. He remains on penalties for Liverpool, with a spell of spot-kicks in this fixture in recent seasons.
