Value to be had on the Reds
Bet 1: Back Liverpool @ 2/1 – KO 16:30 BST
Liverpool are the outsiders for their home clash with title rivals, Manchester City, and while they are without Trent Alexander-Arnold, I still think that they are a bet at 2/1.
Man City won this fixture last season, but the Reds had Henderson and Fabinho in central defence, and there wasn’t a full crowd in either.
That was City’s only victory at Anfield since 2003, and Pep Guardiola’s men make the trip having had two tough games against Chelsea and PSG.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are scoring for fun this term, and they should trouble the City defence much more than what Chelsea did last Saturday.
Napoli to make it a magnificent seven
Bet 2: Back Napoli @ 21/20 – KO 17:00 BST
Napoli were beaten in the Europa League on Thursday, but they aren’t taking that competition too seriously it seems, and in Serie A, they are top with a maximum 18 points from six outings.
Luciano Spalletti’s visitors have already won at Genoa, Udinese and Sampdoria this season, and while Fiorentina are in form, they are still beatable.
Inter Milan won in Florence a fortnight ago, and while they bounced back with a 1-0 away victory last Sunday, when they have faced a top team this year, they have been beaten.
Milan to avoid defeat
Bet 3: Back AC Milan & Draw @ 8/11 – KO 19:45 BST
AC Milan are third in Serie A, and they have been unlucky to lose both of their Champions League games to date.
They are unbeaten domestically though, winning five and drawing one of their six matches, with the only dropped points being a decent 1-1 draw at Juventus.
Tonight they travel to Atalanta, with the hosts in seventh place – five points worse off than today’s opponents.
Gian Piero Gasperini’s men have won just three of their six outings, and at home they have been held by Bologna and beaten by Fiorentina.
