Celtic to get the points at Tannadice
Bet 1: Back Celtic & BTTS @ 9/5 – KO 17:30 BST
Dundee United are back in the Scottish Premiership following their promotion from the second tier, and they have more than held their own in the top flight for the first time since 2016.
Micky Mellon’s men have already won at Motherwell and Ross County, but they could do with improving their home record, as it’s just one point from a possible six thus far.
Unfortunately for them, the visitors today are Celtic, and the Bhoys will be desperate to start making up some ground in the league, following a draw at Kilmarnock.
Neil Lennon’s side put six past KR in the Champions League in the week and while I expect them to score two or three here, I can’t see them keeping a clean sheet.
Another home win for Atletico PR
Bet 2: Back Atletico PR @ 11/10 – KO 20:00 BST
Athletico Paranaense won their opening two games of the new Brazilian season, but they have lost their last two – albeit against Santos and Palmeiras.
Last year’s fifth placed finishers are aiming to get back on track tonight, and they are usually pretty deadly on their own patch.
Dorival Júnior’s men won 12 of their 19 on this ground last term, losing just four times. They beat Fluminense home and away, and Flu have won just one of their four so far this season – losing twice already.
Lille to open up with a victory
Bet 3: Back Lille 13/10 – KO 20:00 BST
It’s last year’s fourth versus last year’s third at Stade Pierre-Mauroy this evening, and I am expecting the points to stay in Lille.
Rennes were only beaten in five of their 14 away games last term, but two of those came from their final three outings – including a 1-0 defeat at Lille.
The selection, meanwhile, won 11 of their 15 at home, with only PSG and Marseille beating them.
