Manager Slams ‘Immature’ Moise Kean

U21 Manager Speaks Out After Red Card

Everton forward Moise Kean has been labeled immature by his Italy U21 manager Paolo Nicolato. His side is currently preparing for their match against Armenia, a game that Kean will miss due to being sent off in their 0-0 draw against the Republic of Ireland.

The red card for Moise Kean came after he reacted to taunts and provocation from opposing players. These actions frustrated Nicolato, who has not held back in scalding the former-Juventus forward.

I see a lad who wants to do well, but perhaps has not yet reached the maturity and balance that he needs. It’s the way you react to errors that makes the difference. On an emotional level, Moise is effectively still a kid just peeking into the world of adults, without yet quite knowing how to interact with them.

Kean, who has already scored for the senior squad, might disagree with his current manager. However, this is not the first time that we have heard rumblings about the potential issues that come with managing Moise Kean. Whilst many in England were surprised by his move to Everton and shocked that Juventus had let him leave, others in Italy gave words of caution.

It’s not been a good start to the season for Keane and this makes things worse. He’s expected to now head back to England to train with the rest of his Everton side as they prepare to face West Ham at Goodison Park on Saturday, a must-win for under-pressure Marco Silva.
